Manufacturers of high-end tubes and pipes and T-DRILL fabrications have a range of products that consist of machine tools used in many different industries, from automotive to shipbuilding. The original T-DRILL Tee forming was developed in the 1970s. In the present day, the same core principle has been used for decades: updating and improving their products by making them rapid, intelligent, and reliable.
T-DRILL, originated in Finland, is sold around the world. About 93% of their products and solutions are shipped to more than 60 countries, which is an absolute feat in itself.
T-DRILL is a proud member of the Leinolat Group, operating from three facilities: two in Finland and one in Atlanta, USA.
By fabricating the Tee from a single tube, the need for costly T-pieces is eliminated, reducing the number of joints from three to one. This design is proven to significantly lower costs and improve both strength and flow characteristics.
Pipe branching is also known as collaring (connecting a branch pipe to a run pipe with the help of a T - DRILL. The joint can be secured easily by using brazing (lap point) or welding (butt joint) techniques.
PROS OF T - DRILL METHOD
- Cost reduction of more than 75%
- Say goodbye to costly inventories
- Much less amount of waste materials
- Remarkably faster
- Impressive strength, flow, and brazing attributes
- Only a single weld joint is required instead of three
Applicable on almost all malleable materials( aluminum, stainless steel, alloys, copper, and more)

T - DRILL is one of the best suppliers of pipe and tube fabrication equipment. They offer both industrial as well as small scale segments that are catered towards mechanical contractors as well as plumbers.
T - Drill offers a comprehensive range of Tee forming machines, collaring machines, flanging and spinning machines and others, They also produce integrated systems with robotic cells. Experience the T - T-DRILL difference and simplify your fabrication processes.
As mentioned before, T - T-DRILL’s Tee Forming methods were developed in the 70s.
By fabricating the Tee from a single tube, we can eliminate the need for costly T - pieces by reducing the number of joints from three to one. This design is proven to lower costs significantly and enhances both strength and flow characteristics.
Pipe branching is the process of connecting a branch to a run pipe. This method is also known as collaring. The joint is secured using either brazing (lap point) or a welding (butt joint) technique.
Chipless Cutting Technology
There are three distinctive cutting methods like: pull-through-cut, and Cut & Break. The Pull-apart method is the most advanced option, which involves partially cutting through the tube wall at about 95% and separating the cut length by pulling it apart; this minimizes the I.D. reduction as compared to through cuts.
Through Cut is considered the most fundamental method of tube cutting when we use a rotary cutting disk. This is usually used for cut lengths of 30 mm and more. When internal diameter reduction is acceptable, then the method is plausible.
The Cut & Break method is suitable for tube pieces that are shorter than 70 mm. The blade cuts approximately 95 % through the tube wall, and the clamping fixture breaks the tube sideways. This method is exclusive to our T - DRILL TCC - 50 R.L. Machine & Coil Tube Cutting Center.
Tube End Forming
T - DRILL‘s flanging machines efficiently create a flange on the pipe end, allowing loose flanges to be used. This process has been proven to save more than 40% of your time when compared to ordinary weld neck flanges. The flange, a.k.a Van Stone and Loose Flange is made by rolling and forming a flange at the end of a pipe spool. The flange can be either smooth or grooved, depending on the specific forming tool employed.
Designed for a wide variety of uses, the T-DRILL Tube End Spinners are immaculate tools. They are used for the informing of long and complicated tubes that are seen commonly in ACR, mechanical contracting industries, and solar panels. T - DRILL’s fully automated spinning machines are designed for efficient closing, reducing, and expanding of copper and brass tubes. These offer both elliptical and spherical forming options. Our machines can also handle reductions and expansions within specific size limits.
